We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our IT Service Division to provide high end engineering services (design, build, support) to our IT Services customers and their users.

The Role:
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will work across the gambit of the IT services sales and delivery cycle by focusing on consulting, pre-sales and BAU delivery. We support a wide range of customers and technologies, so you must be able to pick up new systems in an efficient manner.
You will be working with a highly experienced, professional and friendly Professional Services team consisting of engineers from service through to architect level.
Responsibilities include:
- Pre-sales and solution scoping
- Architecture and design
- Project Delivery / Implementation
- Consulting in regards IT strategy and infrastructure requirements
- Provision of top-drawer customer facing services
- After-hours support
- Third-level BAU IT support for complex faults and MACS
- Participation in Ricoh ITS CAB
- Contribution to Ricoh’s Knowledge Centred Support / Knowledgebases
- Internal system management
- User support
A bit about you
We're looking for someone with a passion for technology, a great attitude and a high level of technical expertise. You'll need:
- At least 8+ years’ experience in managing and delivering infrastructure support and operational excellence to the New Zealand mid-market (50 to 500 seats)
- Extensive engineering experience gained anywhere from service desk through to project design and implementation
- Experience with Microsoft servers, Windows, Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365, Citrix, Hyper-V, Antivirus technologies, VPN’s, Azure, AWS, SAN’s and TCP/IP model…. to name a few!
- Excellent communication skills
- A ‘customer evangelist’ driven to provide exceptional customer service and stay calm under pressure
- Legal entitlement to work in NZ long term.
