Our New Plymouth team is one of the largest engineering consultancies in the Taranaki area, with a growth plan across New Zealand and internationally. Our projects will introduce you to oil, gas, manufacturing, petrochemical, renewables and other local industries and we are looking for Mechanical Engineers, at all levels, for current and ongoing projects.

You will be working with a passionate team in an enviable location just a short walk to the beach and you will have the opportunity to travel and work on industrial sites across Taranaki.

The Person

You will be a detail-oriented Engineer, capable of working with a close-knit team of engineers, designers and project engineers to deliver projects to LogiCamms and clients' standards. As a professional engineer you will offer:

• Experience in a range of mechanical engineering skills, particularly fitness for service, vessels and static equipment,
• Experience to carry out mechanical engineering design and documentation from scheme through to construction stage,
• Experience working in oil and gas facilities or similar heavy or manufacturing industries,
• Assist in the development, application and preservation of engineering and design standards, systems and processes,
• Experience using PV Elite and AutoPIPE programs or other design programs,
• Experience generating engineering estimates and quotations,
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines,
• Degree or equivalent experience/qualifications is mandatory (Mechanical or Mechatronics).
