Having completed successful designs over a wide section of applications including major retail, hospital, residential, commercial and industrial projects, our Building Services team now has an opportunity for a Hydraulics Designer to join them at our Newmarket offices in Auckland.
In this role you will involve providing a range of hydraulics services including the design of commercial hydraulic services (plumbing and drainage systems) to relevant building codes. In addition you will work on tenders, get involved in construction monitoring, and assist with putting together consent packages. You will also have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in the design of fire protection systems.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- Either a relevant tertiary qualification or hands on experience in a relevant contracting/installation organisation
- Experience working in Revit and AutoCAD
- A high level of motivation and a can do attitude
- The ability to work in a consultative fashion, and relate to people from a range of backgrounds
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
