Our client has been in business for over 50 years and in recent years has branched into the civil sector and secured numerous large-scale projects in the heart of Auckland city and further a foot. Core Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis
  • Major and minor services
  • Maintenance and component replacements
  • Fabrication and new machine builds as required
  • Various Component rebuilding to a set standard


Key Criteria:

  • Trade qualifications as a Diesel / Plant Mechanic
  • Flexibility to work over-time as required
  • Extensive experience working on Earthmoving, Construction and Material Handling machinery
  • Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues
  • A current driver’s licence
  • MR license and Air conditioning ticket advantageous
  • Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
  • Extensive experience working on Caterpillar, komatsu and Hitachi plant machinery is essential.


You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
