About the role
This large mid tier organisation is seeking a senior accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills and a desire to progress in their career.
Reporting directly to a senior manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and will be given the opportunity to progress within the firm.
Duties
- Reporting directly to the Partner, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and will be given the opportunity to progress
- Reviewing the preparation of financial statements, taxation returns, company trusts, and individual and self managed super funds
- Working with clients across a range of industries
- Assisting the Manager with ad hoc advisory projects
- Assisting with developing client relationships
- Supervising junior accountants
Skills & experience
- 4+ years experience
- CA qualified (or close to completion)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic and proactive mentality
- Ability to work autonomously
- Previous mentoring experience preferred
