Our client due to an internal promotion is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team based here in Hamilton. If you are looking to work in an environment that is diverse, busy and will allow you to gain new skills and further develop your current skills then this could be the role you have been looking for.
This role is a combination of general reactive maintenance and lots of programmed / scheduled maintenance tasks. So you must be very methodical, have great mechanical aptitude and have exceptional planning and organising skills.
You will work in a small team that is multi-skilled in a fast-paced production environment where every minute and second counts, however you will also have the opportunity of working with some of the industry's state of the art equipment that is no where to be seen in NZ.
The successful candidate will have:-
- A proven history having worked within a manufacturing / production environment
- Ideally 5S or Lean experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years proven experience
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong H&S focus
- A mechanical trade qualification
This role is an immediate start for the right individual and will give you the opportunity to work with a world-class client on a world-class site based right here in Hamilton.
All shortlisted candidates will need to undertake and pass a pre-employment function health test and drug screen.
