The role will consist of but not be limited to;
- Working on projects from concept, pre-construction through to final delivery
- Assist in preparation of tenders, estimates and cost plans
- Taking a lead role in material procurement and ordering, supplier invoice management, monitoring labour and material budgets, document control and change order administration
- Prepare subcontract agreements and commercially manage subcontract packages
- Be prepared to be actively involved in projects and go the extra mile when necessary
- Getting a thorough commercial understanding of all aspects of construction
- Growing the business and promoting values and culture
You will have a tertiary qualification and a degree of experience within New Zealand commercial construction. This is a site-based role so experience of this nature will be seen as beneficial. Above all, loyalty, commitment and your ability to build relationships is required.
