My client has over 10 years’ industry experience they are first and foremost a builder, with commercial construction being the foundation of their business. They have extensive knowledge across a diverse range of projects from design and build, office fit outs, industrial buildings, warehouses and education facilities. Due to an internal promotion an opportunity has arisen for a junior site manager to join their interiors and maintenance division.
Duties/Responsibilities include
- Day to day site management
- Liaising with sub-contractors, consultants, engineers, site manager and project manager
- Ensuring health and safety standards are exceeded
- Co-ordination of all materials on and off site
- Site reports
- Ad hoc duties as they arise on site
The ideal candidate:
- Trade qualified or relevant degree qualification
- Have an excellent grasp on construction methodology
- Ability to read plans
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Cool, calm and collected
- Interiors experience would be an advantage however would also consider candidates from a residential building background.
