Project Supervisor

Curin Contractors, who are based in Cambridge, specialise in residential and commercial earthworks, retaining walls, bulk transport, piling and general civil construction.

What will you be doing?

• This is not an office bound role - you're expected to be visible whilst managing projects
• No two days are the same and you can expect to be attending to:  

- managing project budget
- travelling to jobs on a daily basis; overseeing work sites and the teams 
- problem solving
- ordering materials
- the list goes on!

What You Will Need To Bring To The Table?

• exceptional organisational and planning skills
• the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• trouble-shooting focus - 'why, how, sorted' approach to managing projects
• solid communication - keeping jobs to schedule, daily liaison with team members and friendly approach with clients
• ability to read and follow site plans
• a 'no surprises' approach to supervising projects - escalating problems is key
• a very good knowledge of health and safety requirements and practices
• full NZ drivers license, and preferably hold W, R, and T endorsements
• a good driving record, and be in good health

More details about the role:

• Monday to Friday and every second Saturday
• you must be willing to work long hours when required
• a work ute, phone and laptop for work purposes is supplied
