Wynter Construction are currently looking for a Leading Hand/Site Foreman
to join the fun, modern team here in Auckland, With offices in also in Tauranga, they are in growth mode-

we are keen to hear more! Personality is VERY important , more so than many years experience outside of NZ
Working hours are Monday- Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm – with the odd half day Saturday
 
Permanent Position for a Leading Hand Carpenter looking for the next opportunity to Progress into a SM position with a company that treats all staff exceptionally
and has an open door flat structure with the  team of hardworking people they
already have within the organisation. Each of the Directors have come from a strong construction backround working for Several of the most well known Main Contractors in the Tier 1/2 Markets and are actively involved in the upskilling and training of their staff.
 
LOCATION:      Projects all over Auckland currently- Teatatu right through to Howick
SALARY:          $40P/H Negotiable for right person/skills/attitude- ON WAGES-
PROJECTS:      Ranging from $200K up to $10M- Resi and Commercial
 
The ideal candidate will

• Be a qualified Carpenter
• Have a current  Site Safe Passport and First Aid Certificate
• Be a strong communicator with fluent spoken and written English and know the effective way of speaking to various trades people with sometimes not so good skills
• Have a successful history of project delivery, working alongside a SM/PM and ensuring on site carpentry works were completed correctly, ensuring top quality and schedule/program are running as per planned

 
Key Role Responsibilities

• Maintaining a positive H&S culture on site- ensuring that all subcontractors are following the guidelines, 
• Managing the day to day running of site-delegating site tasks and providing supervision over all employees and subbies and ensure that correct procedures and safety are being followed
• Ensuring current construction methodology is applied at all times
• Liaising closely with the Project Coordinator and Construction Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of the project on schedule
• Develop a positive relationship with sub-contractors and colleagues to successfully drive production on site
