The rapid growth of my client's newly established Auckland office has seen the need of a Site Manager to assist in the growth of their business.
This family owned construction company is looking to bring on an ambitious Site Manager to help managing their expanding workload. They are currently involved in a number of new build residential scheme across Auckland including medium density housing, terraced houses and apartment builds.
The role:
You will be responsible for the delivery of new build apartments from pre-construction through to handover. You will working to assist the Project manager to manage the building process from site set up, effectively leading the sub-contractors, manage Health and Safety on site, manage Quality Assurance systems, site logistics, reporting progress and updating the construction programme.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- Proven ability in managing packages of work on new build residential projects in New Zealand
- Experience delivering buildings with Concrete and Steel frame aspects
- Strong IT skills: MS Outlook, Excel, Word
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Tertiary qualified or have a strong trades background
