Our client is an NZ owned and operated joinery and interiors company with clients across the Auckland region. They pride themselves in their high standard of workmanship and delivering bespoke and tailored solutions to clients. Due to high demand for their services they are in need of a Project Manager to join their tight knit team. This is an opportunity for a capable Project Manager to lead projects with a focus on high end fit outs and finishes for clients across Auckland.
You will be working out of Auckland 4 days a week with 1 day a week travel to the company’s main offices (just north of Wellsford). A car and fuel card is provided on top of the generous base salary of $90-110k (dependent on experience).
We are looking for:
- Experience in managing joinery and/or interior fit out projects in NZ either as Site Manager or Project Manager
- Trades background in carpentry, cabinetmaking or joinery preferred
- Ability to work under pressure
- An eye of detail and design and ability to provide technical advice to on-site teams
- Ability to work independently and confident in making decisions
- Trade certifications or tertiary qualifications are a bonus
- Some knowledge of project scheduling is preferred
