With multiple project wins and a full order book, this Auckland based contractor is in need of an Intermediate to Senior Project Manager to join them on new project work. Experience of working on the structural aspects of vertical construction, ie RC framing and structural steel is essential, any engineering knowledge of those systems is highly beneficial.
You will be responsible for carrying out the management, planning and implementation of all on-site activities to ensure your various commercial projects are completed to a high standard, on time and to budget. This role is ideally suited to an experienced Project Manager who has the ability to manage the delivery whilst coordinating the bigger picture elements. The salary will be $120-160k depending on your experience.
Applications are sought from candidates who can demonstrate highly effective organisational and communication skills and previous career experience in the commercial construction sector.
We are looking for:
- At least 5 years in construction project management
- NZ construction industry experience is ideal
- Strong trades background and/or relevant tertiary qualifications
- Proficient on MS Office Suite & MS Project
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Health and Safety focus at all time
