Our Road Marking operation in New Plymouth now requires a full time Road Marking Foreperson.  As Foreperson you will be responsible for project support, ensuring that contract requirements are met and ensuring resources are optimised. Occasionally out to site, you will lighten the load of the Manager and improve efficiency between the teams on site and in the office. 

You will be part of a dynamic team undertaking both the installation of new markings and maintenance marking throughout the region.

About you:

The person we are looking for will have a proven work history within the industry and possess the following attributes:

• Experienced in the operation and maintenance of A and B Class road marking plant
• Understands and adopts recognised industry best practices with a focus on safety, quality and the environment
• Class 2 license desirable
• STMS Level 1 would be an advantage
• Have a focus on establishing a Zero Harm work environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and preferably IT/computer skills
• Ability to work under pressure and recognise and prioritise the allocation of resources as work and clients require
