The job on offer

This civil contractor is a leading, award winning business that revel in complex, highly technical civil workload. With offices in both Christchurch and Invercargill they are involved in a broad range of projects including multidisciplinary work, bridges, marine work, pipelines and pump stations.  
 
Due to increasing workload they are now looking to add to their Project Management capability in a Civil Project Manager.  This position will be multi-functional across project management, day to day management of staff, along with the development of new business in the Otago & Southland region.  This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take the next step in their career.  As such you will hold the following:

• University Degree Civil Engineering (minimum requirement)
• Enjoy working on highly technical civil infrastructure projects
• Be a problem solver with the ability to think creatively and laterally
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and confidently influence across a number of levels
• Strong management skills both from project and business prospective
• Commercially astute with experience dealing across financials including month end cost reports and programmes
