Residential Quantity Surveyor - West Auckland
About the role
You will be working in your own area of projects with a high level of job ownership as well as mentoring the junior staff members.
The role will include but not limited to :
- Measuring and take-offs
- Pricing and estimation
- Contract administration
- Procurement of subcontractor and supplier agreements
- Systems and process improvement
Skills and experience
To be successful in the role you will :
- Be Quantity Surveyor qualified with New Zealand Experience
- Have 5 + years experience post qualification
- Have strong business partnering skills
- Be a motivated worker with an interest in job growth and team leadership
- Experience leading or managing staff is an advantage
- Strong communication skill with clients, design consultants and construction contractors
- Exposure to cash flow forecasts, feasibility studies, scope of work and cost-management
