Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) continue to provide talented staff to some of the best construction and Engineering Consultancies in New Zealand. With the New Zealand market gaining pace CTR are recruiting for a well positioned and expanding PQS practice in Auckland. They have a great team and passionate leaders and are now looking to secure a solid intermediate or senior quantity surveyor.
 
This is an excellent opportunity and a compelling career move for any ambitious, client facing professional Quantity Surveyor who is looking for an opportunity to join and contribute to the growth of an expanding firm. With an expanding office in Auckland, you will be exposed to a variety of exciting projects and accounts.

To be considered for this role you should be able to demonstrate a career spanning at least 5 years post qualified experience and ideally with a consultancy. However if you would like to make the move from the contractors environment, we would like to hear from you, as this client is very open to change.
 
Within your experience you should be able to show competency with pre-contract functions, including cost estimating from concept through to pre-tender, feasibility studies, procurement and contract advice, tendering and value engineering. Should you also have bank drawdown knowledge this would be key to highlight. 

In regards to project experience, you need to have knowledge of commercial projects across multiple property types from $5m upwards. If you also had knowledge of any civil or infrastructure projects, we would like you to highlight this experience also. With some great iconic builds in the pipeline, this is a perfect time to join this company.
