Our client is a large manufacturer based in Kinleith (Tokoroa). They are currently seeking a results-driven individual for the role of Finance Manager to lead their Finance team of five and provide leadership and support to the Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Finance Team by managing the team members and contractors in a customer focused manner
• Providing sound business advice and support to the operations management team on financial matters , ensuring the business achieves its financial targets
• Deliver operational reporting and ensure it meets the business development and planning processes
• Manage the Finance Team to ensure that common standards, policies and procedures are adopted and maintained in line with the business objectives
• Contribute to the development of the business plans, co-ordinate the inputs and manage the establishment of the financial plans of the business unit
• Develop and implement processes within the Finance Team to simplify and improve existing procedures
• Management of internal control check-lists and liaison with internal audit
• Coaching and development of the Finance team to build a resilient and high performing team that is fully engaged with the business.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A tertiary qualification in commerce
• Proven financial experience in a commercial environment with experience in the manufacturing or industrial industries
• Preference given to individuals that have the right to work and live in NZ
• Experience working with SAP or other ERP system is an advantage
• Proficient with financial modelling and excellent Microsoft Office Excel skills

Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate qualities in leadership and the have the ability to communicate at all levels in an organisation are essential in this role.
