The brief- Based in Auckland my client a residential construction company needs A Quantity surveyor.

The job itself - Joining this national franchise you will report to the senior QS and be part of a team of 3 working across 3910 contracts and house and land packages. Your role will be at an intermediate level and will support the senior QS to start with, before taking over full projects dealing with subtrades and housing New Zealand directly.

To be successful - As a QS I would expect you be diploma or degree Qualified, have experience working with smaller contracts, have shown ability to work under pressure, strong commercial ability dealing with contracts, variations and negotiations, combined with a mind set for long jeopardy and future relationships.
