Harper Smith is currently recruiting for a Drainlayer for an established, mid sized Civil Contractor in Tauranga. This company is in a phase of rapid growth, and are looking for new employees to join their team.

Both ticketed and non ticketed candidates will be considered. This role would be ideal for someone who is already working towards their Drainage tickets, or someone who has experience in Drainage works and is wanting to obtain their qualifications. The role will include assisting and learning from already Qualified Drainlayers on new civil construction, predominantly Greenfield sites.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• To be physically fit, and not afraid to get your hands dirty.
• Be willing to learn from others
• Previous experience in drainage is a major advantage.
• It is also an advantage to have your Class 2 Licence, plus WTR endorsements, as well as experience working on loaders.
