With a shortage of candidates and a new senior vacancy made, well-established structural steel company is on the lookout for an experienced and senior Project Manager.
You will have a sound understanding of Mild Steel, Stainless and Aluminium, Mobile Plant, Industrial Machinery, Machining, Welding, Oxy Cutting, Assembly of Mechanical Components, Pipe Work, Fitting, Custom Designing and QA Checking/Reporting.
Your duties will have you looking after the overall planning, implementation and examination of projects against the specified targets. A big part of your role will be to utilize your market knowledge in development new business and strong client/customer relationships.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Measuring project performance using necessary systems, tools and techniques
- Reporting and escalating to management where needed
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders
- Create and assemble a detailed project plan
- Manage the relationship with all clients and stakeholders
- Carry out risk assessments to minimize risk
The successful candidate will need:
- Experience of using Inventor and AutoCAD
- Competent in using Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Full and Clean Drivers License
- Blue or White Card
- Commitment to best safety practice
