The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for post contract financial management, procurement and resource engagement to deliver projects on budget and to specification.
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Post contract financial management, procurement and resource engagement to deliver projects on budget and to specification.
- Liaise with project estimator to determine contract scope.
- Analyse tender documentation and reconcile with construction documentation to capture additional costs.
- Procurement and booking of subcontractors and materials.
- Liaise with project stakeholders including client and in-house project managers, designers, consultants, suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Managing junior Quantity Surveyor, supporting and training as required.
- Working to extremely tight deadlines and taking 100% ownership of the project whilst in your department.
- Assist project managers with programming works as required.
- Order materials as required.
- Contract variation pricing and procurement.
- Sample sourcing and product/system approvals.
- Payment claim preparation.
- Capturing costs for provisional/PC sums and design and build elements to on charge to clients.
- Documentation management and dispersal.
- Assist admin team in securing compliance documentation upon completion of project works.
