• Work on a wide range of interesting, challenging and important projects

Who are we?
We’re a team of trusted business advisors who work alongside our clients and build long lasting relationships that create value. Our people are what make us the leading professional services firm in New Zealand - full of energy, challenge, and opportunities. Diversity and inclusion is at the centre of who we are; it decides the way we think, who we employ and how we work.

What would you be doing?
As a member of the Data Assurance team, you will help us to answer our clients’ most important questions and help them solve their problems. This includes but is not limited to:

- enabling fact based decision making through the creation of self-service data analytics solutions
- creating dashboards and visualisation supporting the discovery of patterns and trends in data
- automating processes and controls to increase efficiency
- supporting the assessment and improvement of data quality
- dealing with a number of external and internal clients

You'll work on a range of complex, high profile and challenging projects across a wide range of public and private organisations. A lot of our work has a national focus so there are likely to be opportunities to work around the country too. You’ll be joining a team who makes a real difference to clients, often interacting with senior executives in client organisations.

Each client has individual and often unique requirements, so producing innovative, forward thinking solutions can often be a critical part of your role. The learning, development and growth potential at PwC are, therefore, massive. You’ll have the chance to grow your skills and your career while working alongside a fantastic and diverse team.

What do you need to bring to the role?
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification and will be an excellent problem solver with strong technical skills in data, together with having an understanding of manipulating data in relational databases (SQL), and other programming languages. You will have the ability to present data and draw insights, using visualisation tools such as Qlik, Tableau or PowerBI.

If you have studied Computer Science or BCom in Information Systems and have an Accounting background that would be very beneficial, but not essential. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to identify and address client needs, including developing and sustaining meaningful client relationships and understanding the client's business.

Why is PwC a great place to work?

At PwC, you will have an unrivalled level of access to industry expertise, both locally and through our wider global network of member firms, to bring out your best and provide you with a leg up the career ladder.
