Now more than ever the Auckland market is crying out for experienced cost analysis experts to impart some of your knowledge about construction expenses.
As specialists within this field, our client provides complete transparency across their offering which is how they succeed.
Key tasks:
- Mitigate risk through implementation of sound audit, business and financial management of projects
- Establishing overall budget and resourcing work efficiently in order to meet budget and time constraints
- Work on complex and challenging construction projects from inception, through to strategic planning and concept design
- Internal quantity surveying including cost planning for concept ideas to establish feasibility prior to full design being completed
- Provide value management services, schedule of quantities at tendering process and cost reporting both before and during construction
Ideal candidate:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar quantity surveying role (either main contractor or PQS consultancy)
- Proven numerical and analytical skills, ability to read and interpret building plans & provide recommendation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to work with various key stakeholders in the business internally and externally
- Results driven individual
