You've successfully delivered on challenging civil engineering contracts with an engaged, productive team and a satisfied client.
You've built a knowledge base of the key personnel you need on site, how to manage timing, and the logistical processes for a safe and efficient project. You're able to engage your site leadership team to ensure effective execution, you know how to get your design consultants on the same page, and you're a confidence-inspiring figure to your client. You respect suppliers and sub-contractors, but you drive for the best outcomes for the commercial interests of both your client, and your contract. You can adapt your behaviours and communication to suit your audience, engaging all stakeholders and creating an environment of trust, respect and urgency.
Working for a successful and well-networked contractor with a number of recent contract wins in the land development market, you will have the opportunity to tackle projects that you can reflect proudly on for years to come.
Attributes we seek:
- Civil Construction contracting experience in a Project Management role, or as an accomplished Senior Project Engineer
- Experience in land development/subdivisions, water/waste/drainage and surfacing/roading is ideally sought
- A career background either supported with a relevant tertiary qualification OR a demonstrable career journey through grass roots construction and into leadership
- If the majority of your experience is outside of NZ or Australia, we will require a strong level of comparability with our construction processes, materials and techniques
- Strong ability to connect, built rapport and communicate effectively with anyone you encounter, including us
