This firm has a long-standing history of representing a diverse range of clients, from private and corporate asset owners and developers, to local and central government organisations. Renowned for a strong depth of technical capability, formation of solutions to unique and complex challenges, and having some of the best performers in the industry, they have undertaken projects spanning commercial building, land development, civil infrastructure and major public sector facilities and assets.
Your role can range from early stages of client engagement, feasibility and planning; oversee an effective design and well negotiated letting process; work closely with design and contracting staff in formation of the detailed project programme; report on construction progress; monitor relationships between project stakeholders to ensure smooth activities; work with commercial teams to continue monitoring cost; and ultimately ensure that all the prior effort culminates in a project outcome that meets or exceeds expectations.
The attributes we require:
- Presently or previously worked on the client side in a capital projects or professional consulting capacity
- Tertiary education in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying or other relevant qualifications for the construction environment, OR, proven competence in a project management capacity for a commercial construction contractor
- You've independently managed projects that have required a collaboration between various parties and stakeholders, for various packages of work within the main contract, for values well into the tens of millions
- You are a flexible communicator, tailoring your style to your audience, engaging people to a high level in order to secure the performance you require for successful project completion
