Surveying Consultant

• Are you sick of being out in the elements or stuck at a desk?
• Do you want to broaden your skill set as a Surveyor & have reach across a range of contractors and consultants?
• Be involved in multiple projects & customers across the South Island and Wellington

The opportunity:

• The role will be based at company headquarters in Christchurch
• Working for a developing company, you will play an integral role in liaising with their customers on their needs and supplying relevant surveying advice on equipment and software
• In this role will receive consistent training in the latest cutting edge surveying technology as it is released
• You will be a trusted advisor to companies and clients throughout the South Island and Wellington
• As the consultant in the field you will provide your expertise on a multitude of ongoing surveying projects, offering advice on best practices and introducing new technologies to help customers with efficiency, accuracy and cost cutting.
• Run your own desk, control your own diary and travel schedule and work with the backing of your assigned technical resource

Required skills and experience:

• A bachelor's degree or qualification in surveying
• 2+ years of surveying experience
• A technical thinker with the ability to communicate effectively with like-minded individuals
• High attention to detail and organization skills
• Superior communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to socialise and relate to a variety of people
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to succeed
