Site Manager - Tauranga

The opportunity

Our client is an incredibly forward thinking company who are always looking to push forward and find innovation to increase efficiency on site. With a healthy mix of tried and trusted methods and new technology and software they are making a name for themselves very quickly.

The Role

This role will ideally suit someone reasonably fresh to Site Management who wants to move out of the hustle and bustle of somewhere like Auckland into the beautiful setting of the Bay of Plenty. This is not your standard Site Management role of old but a chance to grasp technology that is recently being introduced and head into the new. You will have to have a solid grasp of standard Site Management concepts, however an ability to adapt to recently introduced processes will be of huge benefit. 

With a wide range of projects coming in from healthcare to large scale commercial builds this will certainly provide some solid experience.

Ideal Candidate

• 5 years in the industry
• Great grasp of technology and computer systems
• Strong work ethic
• Trade qualification or tertiary degree in Construction
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written
• People management skills
• High level of attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Day to day site management
• Management of Foreman / leading hands on site 
• Ensuring the project runs successfully and efficiently 
• People management, maintaining site standards to a high level
• Scheduling and progress reporting alongside the Project Manager
• Ensuring work is conducted under correct health and safety guidelines
