We are currently assisting a busy, South Island wide, civil main contractor in their search for a confident Roading Foreman based in Nelson.

This role has become available due to growth/a new project won. You will be employed directly by the company, with Stellar Recruitment supporting you every step of the way. This is a long term full time role where you really will be able to spread your wings, build your own team, and have a high level of input and acclaim.

This civil contractor is a market leader in Nelson, with good job flow and strong contracts.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Site planning and organisation of materials, machinery and labour
• Keeping to budget and timeframes, and assistance tracking these
• On site inductionsAny onsite training requiredDay to day running of the site
• Machine Operation when required

You will require:

• Existing hands on experience in road construction from base prep to finish
• Experience running and training staff/crews
• Competent with all on site Health and Safety requirements
• Be able to pass drug screening
• Idealy class 1,2,3,4,5 WTR
