Platinum Recruitment are excited to present the opportunity for a junior accountant to join a leading Dunedin-based CA practice. My client has a stellar reputation and a diverse client list, as well as a positive and supportive environment.

Some responsibilities of the role include:

• Financial Accounting (preparation of accounts for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, and Individuals)
• Reporting and Analysis
• Prepare and lodge income tax returns
• Compliance and reporting
• Ad-hoc tax planning and consultant work
• Improvement of systems and accounting controls across a range of organisations
• Client relationship development and maintenance

The ideal candidate will:

• Have graduated with an appropriate degree
• Have your ACA, or be working towards your CA
• Around 2 years' experience in a NZ CA firm
• Experience with Xero or MYOB systems would be advantageous
• Time management skills
• Work well in a team
• Have a great attitude and willingness to learn
