Our Client:
Our client is a highly respected, medium-sized Chartered Accounting practice that is part of an International Accounting Group. Their team is made up of high performing, senior level Accountants, many of which have come from large firm backgrounds and they want to be part of a close group of professionals with a focus on adding value to their clients where possible.
The Position:
A position has opened up for an experienced Business Advisory Services, Senior Accountant. This position is an ideal role for a Senior Accountant that wants to be more involved with advisory, enjoys using their initiative and has an analytical outlook to solving client issues. With support from the Principles you will be taking ownership of a broad portfolio of clients that varied in their size, complexity and industry including large multinational companies.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage a portfolio of clients developing close working relationships with clients
- Prepare financial statements and taxation returns
- Preparation budgets, forecasts and cashflow reports
- Advising client of correct systems and procedures
- Analysing clients' accounting systems
- Providing advice in the areas of business improvement, tax structuring and range of other advisory focused initiatives

Skills and experience required:
- CA qualified
- 5 years' experience in a New Zealand Chartered Accounting firm
- Experience dealing directly with clients
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
