About the business and the role
We are a fast growing company involved in residential construction, managing construction of new houses from Pukekohe to Massey. There is a strong career progression for someone with the right skill set and drive to pursue a career in Residential Project Management. This role is 100% off the tools and is about Site Management and Sub Contractor Management.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- You would be responsible for the project management of different sites, all over Auckland.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, in budget and to specification whilst adhering to legal compliance and regulations.
- You will be directly responsible for all project specific safety, quality, budget and construction programmes.
- You will be responsible for client side deliverables, programmes, risk assessments, method statements, and site records.
- Material scheduling and purchase requisitions.
- Taking detailed notes on Health & Safety, risk assessment and method statements.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and consultants.
Skills and experience
- Have a Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Construction Management or Higher.
- Have minimum 1 years experience at Site Management/ Project Management level within the construction sector.
- Knowledge and experience in NZ Construction and 3604.
- Must be able to deliver projects from foundation to finish throughout Auckland.
- Excellent communication and negotiation Skills.
- Must be able to build and maintain efficient and professional Client relationships.
- Must be able to manage both sub-contractors and directly employed tradesmen.
- Be able to produce programmes, plan projects and procure materials.
- Have a good understanding of the Health and Safety Act and required procedures.
