Senior Section Manager (Contract)
This highly respected and multi award winning main contractor now require a Senior Section Manager for a major construction and refurb project in South Auckland. The project is regarded as one of the most complex construction projects to be developed in Auckland in recent times.
Due to the complexities of the project, there is now a requirement for a Senior Section Manager to manage one section of the project which is valued at up to $100m in value.
The ideal candidate will have major construction site management experience and exposure to managing the bespoke intricacies of such a high profile, complex project.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the construction site, including sub-contractors, health and safety of personnel and quality and workmanship of labour
- Must be fully proficient in managing various sub-contractors …
- Must be competent working from brown field site through to finish.
- Liaising with a range of Built Environment professionals i.e. Designers, Engineers, Architects, considerate constructors scheme etc.…
- Designing the construction programme to maximise efficiency and ensure completion is in accordance with the schedule
- Responsible for all document control as an integral part of the project control
- Following support and guidance from other departments thus ensuring technical competency and consistent in provide feedback and information to all relevant departments
- Management responsibilities for all Health and Safety policies and procedure
- Report directly to the Contracts Director
- Responsible for the overall management and day to day running on site activity
- Ordering materials
- Management of Sub - Contractors/ managing staff/ dealing with any issues as and when required
- Delivery of project on time and to a high specification
- Cost effective strategy in Management
