We are based in Auckland. Searching for experienced carpenters and fibrous plasterers. Full-time work. Weekly/fortnightly pays, competitive rates and ongoing work.

THE TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CARPENTERS INCLUDE
- site preparation, ensure the layouts are accurate, ensure appropriate supply of selected materials is available on site, advising the management accordingly,
- read and understand construction drawings and specifications to determine the resources (materials) needed, planning steps to execute tasks to project completion,
- construct/erect/install/assemble various structures including interior/exterior framing, aluminium partitions, suspended ceilings, fittings,
- ensuring the works (incl. construction, erection, installation etc) are performed to the existing specifications (dimensions), ensuring trueness of forms and structures,
- be able to work with various materials including plasterboards, plywoods, timbers, rollformed steel (metals) and other materials,
- working on renovation and repairs projects including installation of exterior wall claddings, door and window frames,
- measuring, marking, cutting and nailing timber, metal, plastic, laminates,
- measuring, marking, cutting wallboard/plasterboard, lifting and positioning panels, and securing them to walls, ceilings and battens, ensuring straight corners, angles, wall and ceiling surfaces,

THE TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR FIBROUS PLASTERERS INCLUDE
- site preparation, understand and ensure the plasterboard layouts are accurate, ensure appropriate supply of selected materials is available on site, advising the management accordingly
- ensure accurate surface measurements, marking, quantities estimation,
- cutting, positioning and fixing various types of plasterboard, ceiling systems acoustic tiles and composite wall linings to walls, ceilings and battens, buildings, ensuring straight corners, angles, wall and ceiling surfaces,
- produce finished surfaces, according to blueprints, architect's drawings, or oral instructions,
- applying and finishing acoustic, insulating and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement and similar materials,
- preparing and installing corner beads to secure elements, including various plaster fittings (cornices, mouldings, ceiling centrepieces, slim lines, arch beads)
- installation and plastering of slim lines, arch beads, straightening corners & angles, leveling wall and ceiling surfaces,
- ensure that  the corners/angles (internal or external) are plumb and straight by using leveling and straightening tools, leveling wall and ceiling surfaces,

ALL CANDIDATES WILL
- have minimum 3+ years of experience in the industry and/or relevant (to construction) industry qualification. The experience will be on commercial/residential construction projects, in a broad range of duties and materials,
- be a keen, motivated individual with a heightened sense of responsibility for the work performed, there may be some leadership assignments,
- must be thorough, diligent, with great attention to details,
- be working independently and/or within the team, and must be able to achieve and maintain a high standard of workmanship without supervision,
- be able to work flexible hours, including night shifts,
- be physically fit and able to lift various items and be able to work at heights,
- consent to and pass pre-employment and ongoing drug testing if and when required,
- complete a request for Criminal Convictions History by the third party, if and when requested,
