About the Role:
Within your role as a Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with the team on the initial stages of contract acquisition right through to the completion of projects. Your reporting lines are direct to the Director, although this role is autonomous in the sense of full ownership over projects. You will have the opportunity to be involved in some of their largest projects across the business. Projects are primarily based in Otago and Southland.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the successful delivery of medium to large projects
- Manage and build strong, long-term relationships with partners and customers
- Support a number of key projects at once
- Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills, evidenced by authoritative meetings management
- Support colleagues with proposals, submissions and preparing case studies
- Provide professional guidance and support to the team
The ideal candidate will ideally have/be:
- Min 3 years' post grad consultancy or construction experience as a Project Manager
- Demonstrated ability in leading and supporting successful project delivery
- Project Management qualification: PMP preferred
- Demonstrated business partnering abilities
- Ability to work independently
- Solid understanding of NZ3910
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
