Full-time, perm opportunities based out of Paraparaumu, Kapiti

Following on from the successful completion of the Mackays to Peka Peka Expressway Higgins is now involved on the next stage of the Wellington Northern Corridor, the Peka Peka to Otaki stage. This will be a $300m plus project building 13 KMs of 4 lane expressway.

As well as this project, Higgins business is growing in the lower North Island generally. We now have multiple opportunities for Machine Operators, to be based out of our Kapiti branch in Paraparaumu.

You will need relevant experience in the civil construction sector with a roading focus, specific practical experience in the specified disciplines and total commitment to health and safety.

Requirements:

• Minimum Class 1, Class 2 preferred

• WTR endorsement

• Experience with roller, loader, digger - highly advantageous

• Total commitment to health and safety

• Reasonable level of physical fitness

• Self-motivation and a positive attitude

• Be reliable, honest and a flexible team player
