About the Company:
Our client is a reputable and well-established civil contractor, with a focus on providing quality outcomes, during which Health and Safety is kept of utmost importance. About the Role:
The successful applicant will be required to manage civil projects in the greater Auckland region, ensuring all company requirements and objectives are met. There will be an emphasis on roads and associated infrastructure, and if you have experience managing such projects, we would like to hear from you. The successful applicant will have proven experience in running their own programs, and financial management of their own projects.
Duties:
- Run efficient, profitable projects
- Complete projects on budget, on time, and to a high quality
- Develop successful client rapport and relationships
- Develop project program & manage financials
- Progress management
- Manage and supervise motivated staff and sub-contractors
- Oversee overall contract management
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years managing civil projects
- Roading / concrete / civil infrastructure experience essential
- Excellent communication skills with a variety of people
- Experience managing multiple sites
- Tertiary level Civil Engineering qualification
- Practical experience in project management, Civil Engineering work
- Hands-on approach to projects
