Site Foreman- Commercial - New Build

- Up to $38 an hour depending on experience
About the Company:
Award winning commercial company that is focused on large projects. This is a privately owned business that operates like a family with the resources of a major company. Based in West Auckland you will be a part of an organisation with an exciting array of new projects that has established itself as a dominant force in the Auckland market.
About the Role:
This company prides itself on producing quality commercial builds, with staff that are solutions focused, professional, and work cohesively on projects. In this role you will be working closely with a Project Manager to drive construction to a high level, and deliver on time and on budget.
Duties:
You will lead by example and have an owner's perspective on your projects. You will assist the Site Manager/Project Manager and be able to organise your site and have it running to ensure quality, health and safety, sub trades and materials are organised well. A high amount of autonomy and trust will be placed in your position.
Skills & Experience:
- To be successful in this position you will:
- Have a trade certified carpentry background or degree qualified
- Have at least 5 years' experience working in commercial construction
- Have at least 2 years' experience as a Site Foreman/Site Supervisor in commercial construction
- Have a good understanding of local building codes and a substantial amount of recent New Zealand experience
