The Opportunity
Based out of the Hamilton branch, you will be part of the maintenance contract crew primarily carrying out unsealed road maintenance on Local Authority road networks in rural environments. Duties include:
- Unsealed road maintenance grading;
- Pavement repairs and re-sheeting;
- Pavement construction;
- Area wide pavement treatments and overlays.
The Candidate
The following skills and attributes are required:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience operating graders in a road construction or maintenance environment;
- Class 2 license minimum;
- WTR endorsements essential;
- Self-motivation coupled with the ability to lead and motivate a team;
- Drive to achieve productivity, goals and deadlines;
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills;
- Honesty and reliability.
