We are looking for an experienced plasterer required for solid plastering and concrete remedial work for commercial projects.

Requirements:

• Min 3 years experience
• Own vehicle and tools
• Be able to work with minimal or no supervision
• Good communication skills
• Be reliable and have good time management

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Apply coats of plaster or stucco to walls, ceilings or partitions of buildings using trowels, brushes or spray guns.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for applications of plaster, cement, stucco, or similar materials, such as drywall taping.
• Cure freshly plastered surfaces.
• Apply waterproof, decorative coverings to exterior surfaces of buildings, such as towelling or spraying on coats of stucco.
• Mixing mortar and plaster of the correct consistency or direct workers who perform mixing.
• Installing guide-wires on exterior surfaces of buildings to indicate thickness of plaster or stucco and nail wire mesh, lath, or similar materials to outside surfaces to hold stucco in place.
• Installing Moulding and Ornamental plaster pieces, panels and trim.
• Apply rough undercoat with scratcher to provide bond for succeeding coats of plaster.
• Create decorative textures in finish coat, using brushes or trowels, sand, pebbles or stones.
• Perform Plaster maintenance
• Install precast ornamental plaster pieces by applying mortar to back of pieces and pressing pieces into place on wall or ceiling and be designated Ornamental-Plaster sticker.
• Concrete remedial work, including Patching, Grinding and Bagging.
• Dry packing and Pressure Grouting of Pre-cast and Structural Steel Components.
• Apply insulation to building exterior by installing prefabricated insulation systems over existing walls or by covering the outer wall with insulation board, reinforcing mesh and base coat.
