For a rapidly growing New Zealand owned design, manufacturing and installation business operating in the process and utilities engineering sectors.
The business designs, manufactures and installs multi-million dollar fabricated engineering systems across New Zealand and Australia. The company has developed significant expertise in its area, and needs to add civil construction team management expertise to cope with growth.
Managing the safe and efficient work of fabrication and installation teams, the role will be a key player in all aspects of projects, from proposal through to commissioning.
On time, within budget, and satisfied clients are the most important deliverables. The job manages operations through reporting managers. Leadership, people skills, pragmatism and commercial nous are essential.
An industry or trade qualification is essential, together some years of relevant experience in the utilities or civil construction sectors.
