Russell Gordon Contracting is currently seeking experienced Concrete Placers / Finishers to supplement our current commercial concrete placing team, operating in the greater Auckland area and in all aspects of commercial placing you will be paramount in helping the team to achieve their objectives.

• Commercial Concrete Placing – Mechanical & Free Screed
• Residential & Decorative Concrete Placing
• Concrete Pump Hire
• Foundation & Floor Construction
• Brick & Block laying
• Concrete Construction, Paving & Site works
• Concrete Cutting & Core Drilling
• Full Construction Project Delivery

The company has a fleet of concrete pumps and teams of Commercial & Residential Concrete Placers also a successful Concrete Cutting operation along with a significant presence in the Brick & Block Industry. These teams are further complimented by our Siteworks and Foundation construction teams. We have a very skilled, experienced and engaged team at RGC making it an enjoyable and rewarding place to work and allowing us to complete jobs of many varieties and complexities. Hence we have built long term profitable relationships with our large array of customers.

Purpose of Role:

Reporting to the Commercial Concrete Placing Manager you will be expected to have pride in your ability, yourself & the company. It is expected that you act in a mature & professional manner at all times with health, safety and quality in mind. You will be required to support internal and external customers in such a manner as to optimize the commercial placing team's goals.

The successful applicant will have:

• A minimum 12 months experience in Commercial Concrete Placement.
• Experience in finishing with Ride-on power floats a distinct advantage
• You will have the ability to handle pressure in a sometimes challenging environment.
• You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build & maintain relationships with customers and team members.
• A class 1 Drivers License will be an advantage
• You will be a team player, positive, energetic and focused on achieving the desired goals.
