Our client delivers significant and iconic projects across all key sectors of the construction industry. We are looking for several Senior Civil Foreman to join their team working on an integral project based in the Waikato. The focus of the positions will be to achieve optimal outcomes through the effective utilisation of plant, direct labour and subcontractors in a healthy and safe working environment. You will be responsible for the following: • Implementing and monitoring SH&E policy, procedures and legislative requirements • Continuously overseeing work, analysing construction methods and performance • Working with the quality and safety teams to ensure that all temporary works and construction works are in line with planned methodologies • Planning and scheduling work to meet required timelines and outputs through prioritising activities against the projects daily program • Assessing, recommending and prioritising equipment and labour requirements with Engineers and Project Managers • Understanding daily work program and allocating staff as appropriate • Holding regular toolbox meetings, maintaining accurate records and ensuring appropriate documentation is signed on and followed To be considered for this position you will have relevant New Zealand experience in a Foreman or Supervising position on large scale civil projects that have involved in the movement of bulk earthworks and asphalting. You must be highly experienced with the operation of heavy plant and earthmoving equipment and have a strong understanding of associated construction methodologies.
