Amenities and Infrastructure Maintenance Services (AIM) staff are proud to care for natural and built environments for the enjoyment of everyone who uses the region's open spaces. As a full facility maintenance supplier we provide a range of services to enhance our parks, places and public spaces.
The Opportunity
Some exciting changes are afoot, and we’re currently looking to expand our project management delivery team. This means we need an experienced Project Manager to join our Facilities management team. With the opportunity to lead and develop a Project Management Office, you’ll take a proactive and innovative approach to developing and leading the end to end delivery of multiple projects for facilities, building & technical services.
The scope and range of these projects is extensive, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, building fabrication services and facilities assets to name just a few, mainly in a renewal capacity. You’ll be project managing in-house resources along with sub-contractors where there’s a need, and making sure your agreed programmes of work are within scope, on time, on budget and any risks mitigated.
About You
As well as your proven experience project managing in a building or technical environment, you’ll be comfortable in influencing and building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholder, and bring with you strong commercial acumen with an understanding of financial business drivers. If you’re someone that’s looking to combine your ability to think and work at a strategic level with a love of getting into the detail and getting things done, this really could be the opportunity for you.
We’d like to see that you’re skilled in contractual and commercial negotiations, and of course strong written and verbal communication skills will be key.
What We Offer
In return, you’ll not only receive a competitive salary, but full support for on-going professional and personal training and development. Alongside autonomy in your role, you’ll be a key member of the management team shaping the business for growth and expansion.
Please note: the AIM office is based in Three Kings but you could have to travel anywhere around the greater Auckland region
This role is deemed safety sensitive and will require a pre-employment drug & alcohol test prior to offer.
