Your new company
This proudly Cantabrian manufacturer has just reached the next stage of their international development having secured a highly lucrative position in their market. With this future growth firmly in mind, they now seek a management accountant who can utilise their manufacturing experience to make the most of this opportunity.
Your new role
With multiple improvements planned across their plant, you’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and external parties to preside key insights, planning and highlight improvements. Your duties will include:
- Preparation of monthly management and board reports
- Process analysis and improvement recommendation
- Assist external parties with process mapping and ERP upgrade
- Review standard costing and variances with detailed analysis
What you'll need to succeed
This is a role where you will largely be given autonomy to review and analyse across the business, reporting to the Finance Manager on your findings and recommendations. To succeed here you’ll have:
- Accounting degree qualified with practical qualified experience
- Sound understanding of manufacturing processes
- Worked in a similar role
- Be looking for more autonomy
- To take pride in your results
- To enjoy business improvement and reporting
