This is an attractive opportunity available with one of our long-standing clients in Auckland.
The firm is medium sized (with approximately 30-35 staff) and boasts a diverse client base consisting of more than 2,500 entities across various industry sectors.
The firm has grown impressively over the last decade and offers a structured and professional, yet friendly and relaxed team environment.
We are looking for an intermediate to early senior accountant with a minimum of 3 years current BAS experience in chartered accounting firm.
Our ideal candidate will be studying towards full CA qualifications or may even be recently CA qualified.
The role has strong client servicing focus and requires outstanding interpersonal and client facing skills.
The role will suit a proactive up and coming accounting professional able to work largely unsupervised and willing to learn and grow.
The firm has excellent internal systems and a structured environment and your ability to follow well defined processes and procedures will be essential.

Reporting to a senior accountant/team leader and, at times, directly to the partners you will have strong client focus.
Attitude is as important as technical grounding in financial accounting and tax compliance and our client is looking for a positive individual with high levels of energy and a desire and drive to develop further professionally.
The firm encourages their people to advance their careers at their own pace. This means that you will be promoted to the next level on the basis of your performance, as opposed to the number of years you have been with the firm.
Regular bi-annual reviews will ensure that you will not have to wait for more than 6 months maximum, if you are ready to step up to the next level.

To be successful in this role, you will have solid grounding in all aspects of business services.
This role can be seen as a stepping stone for an intermediate professional wanting to gradually take on more senior responsibilities.
