Max Contracts have a compelling opportunity for an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter who will manage their own small crew on a large-scale bridge build in Northland, Auckland.

You will need significant AND proven experience working in a civil setting with extensive knowledge for formwork and concrete pouring. The capability to read, interpret drawings and set out associated tasks while managing a team of 3-4 tradespeople will be expected of you.


You will also need:
- NZ trade certification or overseas equivalent
- Physically fit. This is an ‘on the tools’ role
- Excellent communicator and ability to motivate a team to hit deadlines
- Minimum two references citing civil construction experience
- Construct safe ticketed and your own hand tools
- EWP is preferable but not mandatory
