About the role
AEC require experienced and trainee asbestos surveyors / assessors.
For experienced personnel with proven experience there are opportunities to manage asbestos survey and remediation projects both large and small as well as stepping up to business management level through our regional offices.
For a trainee, attitude, commitment and hard work will see you trained to qualify to international asbestos survey standards and develop a career in this interesting industry creating safer spaces for others. For recent school leavers minimum NCEA Level 2 is required. For others experience or an interest in Health & Safety and/or construction is a must.
Applications from asbestos surveyors / assessors who are experienced with business development, client liaison and project management would be highly regarded.

Skills and experience
Ideally experienced applicants should hold;
P402 or equivalent
P404, NZ licensed asbestos assessor or equivalent
Proven asbestos survey experience
Other relevant qualification at Diploma or Degree level in Occupational Health, Safety or Environmental
NZ drivers license
Trainees should have a basic understanding of health and safety legislation and/or the construction industry.
