Movio is experiencing major growth at a global level and has a need for a full-time Auckland-based Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.

Working with upper levels of management you will provide information required for strategic, operational and tactical decision making. This includes budgeting, forecasting, monthly & quarterly reporting and ad hoc analysis as required.

We require a financially competent individual who is comfortable working with complexity and is able to take inputs from multiple sources to interpret and present financial results to key stakeholders and decision makers.

Responsibilities will include:

Budgeting

• Plan and lead Movio’s annual budgeting process
• Liaise with stakeholders to prepare their respective inputs and consolidate into the annual budget
• Review the financial metrics and assumptions with each business lead and ensure alignment with business performance
• Present budget to VGL Finance team

Forecasting

• Maintain the annual forecast and operational KPI’s
• Liaise with regional offices regularly re revenue performance and adjust forecast accordingly
• Ensure OPEX and CAPEX expense management scales with revenue as required
• Ad-hoc analysis and forecasting for strategic, operational, or tactical decision support

Reporting

• Oversee Worldwide Profit and Loss monthly management accounts
• Manage the monthly collection of billing inputs from all stakeholders and timely provision to VGL Finance team
• Prepare monthly reporting packs in Movio format to various stakeholders
• Liaise with regional offices re performance against budget and forecast
• OPEX and CAPEX management, including liaising budget owners re performance against budget and forecast
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial updates for 90 day plan

• Product pricing & sales analysis
• Commercial modelling

To be considered for this role you will need:

• CA qualification or equivalent
• A minimum of 4+ years’ experience in Finance
• Multinational business experience preferred
• Love for the cinema / movie industry
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
