Linemarking Operator / Labouring Hand / Industrial Flooring Trainee

Our client provides high quality industrial machine based services, surface preparation and surface finishing to surfaces able to be accessed by Industrial machinery.
Job Purpose:-
To be proficient in the operation of all the equipment and machinery the business uses in order to achieve the company objectives:-

• To be able to operate all machinery in a safe manner on or in various industrial facilities as required    
• To keep the equipment clean at all times    
• To provide assistance to other staff members to meet the overall goals and mission of the business     
• To assist in and co-ordinate in job scheduling     
• To perform limited field maintenance of the machinery in the event of a breakdown             

General Duties:-

• To correctly identify the most efficient and economical method to achieve optimal results  
• To be able to operate Airless machinery in a safe manner on or in various industrial facilities as required 
• To keep the equipment clean at all times  
• Understand the information contained in the Materials Data Safety sheets, and be able to protect both operators and the environment using safe work practices
• To be able to replace consumable items tips, seats and filters in a timely and efficient manner   
• To provide assistance to other staff members to meet the overall goals and mission of the business  
• To assist in and co-ordinate in job scheduling  
• To perform field maintenance of the machinery in the event of a breakdown 
• Assessing customer’s needs and be customer focussed   
• Flexible to be able to meet changing demands of the customer
• To be able to plan, implement and monitor own work load  
• Prioritise and meet time management using time-management principles  

The ideal candidate will have:-

• Attention to detail  
• Excellent interpersonal skills     
• Physical demands       
• The individual will be expected to have a standard of fitness to enable them to carry out all of the duties above.      
• Must have a current NZ Class 1 drivers licence   Be able to use all the machinery the business uses
